Michael Jackson Dead At 50 Cardiac Arrest

Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an emergency call at 12:21 pm, Los Angeles time, to the residence of Michael Jackson on Carolwood Drive and found Jackson in cardiac arrest.

They applied CPR at the scene but Jackson was not responsive and he was rushed to UCLA Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm. His family arrived at 2:46 pm to gather around his bedside and the official announcement was made at approximately 3:15pm.

Jackson recently had passed extensive physical examinations to qualify for the financing guarantee and insurance with AEG in preparation for his sold-out 50 concert tour of the UK next month.
