Mustafa Ahmed, only 12 years old was given a standing ovation at the Hot Docs film festival in Toronto. His poem was a beautiful story of survival in a bleak public housing area of Toronto, called Regent's park. This place is known for drugs and gangs and children growing up here have little hope for a bright future.
His mother must be proud of her son and his artistic talent. Thank God his voice was heard.
